This study aims to describe the value of character education in the story of the Origin of Mount Poteng. The research data is the story of the origin of Gunung Poteng written by Afriani obtained from the book Dongeng Singkawang part 1 published by the Library and Archives Office of Singkawang city in 2017. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. The results showed the value of worship/oneness, honesty, responsibility, curiosity, and perseverance.

Student Work Class (KKM) is a type of community service, and is one of the compulsory subjects in the Undergraduate study program at the Tarbiyah College of Science (STIT) Singkawang. Before students carry out the KKM in a predetermined place, students are given provisions that are expected to be useful when going to the field. By using the Kirkpatrick program evaluation model using 2 stages, namely the Reaction Evaluation stage and the Learning Evaluation Stage, researchers found that this debriefing activity was very necessary to become a provision for students who would carry out the KKM.

Mothers are very important in the education of families and the general community, especially for their very young children. Because early age is the age that shapes a child's personality and character. This research aims to find out the role of mothers in early childhood education according to the Qur'an. The results are expected to increase the insight and knowledge of authors and mothers about their functions and roles in early childhood education. In addition, this research will provide an impetus for educators to face the developments and advances of the times. This research is library research, using psychological approaches and using descriptive methods. For data collection, documentation methods are used. The results of the research show that the role of mother is very important and cannot be considered simple. Generations of nations are printed through their mothers. Mother is the first and primary teacher for her children, where they receive care, affection, and attention from a mother. It is very important for the growth and development of early childhood, so that mother should provide material and approach of faith and morality to her child. It can also be applied through the affection, the habit, and the simplicity of a mother.

In an effort to educate students, developing teacher professionalism is a necessity that cannot be ignored, in other words, developing teacher professionalism is a step that needs to be taken by Madrasahs to increase teacher professionalism competence. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This research aims to obtain information related to the Management of Madrasah Heads in Increasing Teacher Professionalism at MA Riyadhul Ulum Sungai Piyuh. The results of this research are, Madrasah head management in improving teacher professionalism carries out training for teachers according to needs in terms of learning, information technology, such as upgrading learning methods, upgrading scientific writing, professional/competency certification, supervision programs for madrasah heads, empowerment programs MGMP, and development carried out by the teachers themselves by carrying out the functions of the school principal himself as an educator, motivator, supervisor and administrator.

Prayer is an obligation for every Muslim, prayer has several components to support the authenticity or validity of the prayer. Among these components are the pillars of prayer, the pillars of prayer are qauliyah, namely the pillars which are in the form of speech and must be pronounced by the person praying and the pillars of filiyyah, the pillars which are in the form of movements in prayer which in fact must be carried out perfectly according to the guidance of the sharia. As for the research approach, researchers used a descriptive approach. Descriptive research carries out analysis only to the level of description, namely analyzing and presenting facts systematically so that they are easier to understand and conclude. The conclusions given are always clear and factual so that everything can always be returned directly to the data obtained. From the research results, it can be concluded that teachers' efforts to improve students' ability to apply tajwid knowledge in the reading of the rukun qauli prayer include applying the ummi method in learning tajwid, making teacher picket schedules to control congregational prayer practice activities, holding congregational prayer practices at school, and hold a tahfidz exam.
