The Tsurayya Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is managed by the Islamic religious education study program at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Mempawah.The publications through Tsurayya Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam include results of research or conceptual studies about Teaching Islamic Education and Islamic Education Studies in the Indonesian or international context. The manuscript must be original research, not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Any papers not fulfilling these requirements based on the guidelines to authors will not be processed</p> Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) en-US Tsurayya 2964-8947 Relevansi Konsep Kalam Abu Hasan Al-Asy’ari Bagi Penguatan Keimanan Generasi Z https://jurnal.staimempawah.ac.id/index.php/tsurayya/article/view/237 <p><em>This study identifies the main problems of Generation Z's faith in the digital age, namely an epistemological crisis caused by information overload, social media algorithm echo chambers, skepticism towards religious dogmatism and authority, and exposure to radical and liberal extremist ideologies that trigger deep doubts about Islamic beliefs. The theory used is the theology of Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari (Asy'ariyah), which offers a rational balance between reason and revelation through the concept of the eternal nature of Allah (haalah laazimah), the doctrine of kasb for human responsibility, the distinction between kalam nafsi-lafzi, ru'yah in the afterlife, and the status of major sinners as believers, as an antithesis to Mu'tazilah polarism and extreme textualism. Descriptive-qualitative analysis through literature research shows that Asy'ariyah teachings are contextually relevant to Generation Z, who thirst for authenticity, with cognitive (short attention span), emotional (existential anxiety), and social (open but vulnerable to hoaxes) characteristics. because it provides a rational foundation that filters extreme digital narratives while maintaining the transcendence of revelation, thereby strengthening religious digital literacy and religious moderation. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of the poster comment method and its effect on the learning outcomes of grade VII students of Merah Putih Private Junior High School, Pasir Palembang Village, Mempawah Regency. The research method used is the Kemmis &amp; McTaggart model Class Action Research (PTK), with two cycles that include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study is grade VII students for the 2024/2025 school year. The data collection instrument uses observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, most students have not achieved KKM, increased in cycle I, and achieved classical completeness in cycle II. The poster comment method has been proven to increase students' motivation, participation, and understanding of PAI material. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of PSP in enhancing teacher competence at SD Negeri 06 Mempawah Hilir, Mempawah Regency. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that teacher competence can be improved through training and mentoring, the development of teaching modules based on the M</em><em>erde</em><em>k</em><em>a </em><em>Curriculum, the implementation of student-centered learning, and regular evaluations. The implementation of PSP has proven effective in developing teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Supporting factors include visionary school leadership, teacher motivation, and technological facilities, while inhibiting factors involve adaptation to the new curriculum, diverse student characteristics, unequal teacher competency standards, and the need for varied teaching methods. Mempawah Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 https://jurnal.staimempawah.ac.id/index.php/tsurayya/article/view/244 <p><em>This study was motivated by the importance of Arabic writing skills for students, particularly in the form of calligraphy art. The calligraphy extracurricular program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darusalam Sengkubang aims to describe its implementation process and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its practice. This research employed a qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that calligraphy learning is implemented in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, teachers prepare learning materials (mufrodat). During implementation, activities include an introduction, core session, and closing, applying demonstration methods with khat naskhi style as it is easier for students to understand. Evaluation is conducted at the end of each session through direct assessment of students’ writing results, accompanied by motivation to enhance their learning spirit. Supporting factors include school support in providing training space, sufficient facilities, the selection of accessible calligraphy materials, and teacher motivation that fosters student enthusiasm. Inhibiting factors involve low interest among some students leading to distractions, differences in Arabic writing abilities, and limited practice time held only once a week, often clashing with other schedules.</em></p> Mad Yunus Ismail Firmansyah Copyright (c) 2026 Tsurayya 2026-04-30 2026-04-30 5 1 50 61 Peran Ikatan Remaja Masjid Al-Falah Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Remaja Masjid Di Desa Sungai Bakau Besar Laut Kecamatan Sungai Pinyuh Kabupaten Mempawah https://jurnal.staimempawah.ac.id/index.php/tsurayya/article/view/245 <p><em>In the face of modern challenges, the Al-Falah Mosque Youth Association (Ikatan Remaja Masjid Al-Falah) in Sungai Bakau Besar Laut Village plays a crucial role in shaping the character and personality of adolescents through positive and constructive activities. The objectives of this study are: To examine the role of the Al-Falah Mosque Youth Association in fostering the character development of mosque youths in Sungai Bakau Besar Laut Village, and To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing the implementation of IRA’s role in youth character formation. This research employed a field study design with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of mentors and IRA administrators. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. </em></p> <p><em>The findings reveal that the Al-Falah Mosque Youth Association plays a significant role in instilling core character values such as religiosity, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and social awareness. Active participation of the youths in mosque-based activities contributes to a heightened sense of religious consciousness and moral responsibility among them. Supporting factors include strong community involvement, adequate mosque facilities, and the enthusiasm of the administrators in implementing youth development programs.
