Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the peculiarities of Madrasah Education in Philosophical Review. This study uses the library research method (library) to explore information related to the theme of the Distinctiveness of Madrasah Education in Philosophical Review. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, research data is obtained which shows that the first madrasa in the ontological review is the building used by Muslim educators and students for teaching and learning activities.

Based on the curriculum material, madrasas also teach the same general knowledge as equivalent general schools, but what distinguishes madrasas from general schools is that more religious knowledge is provided. Second, the character of the madrasa in an epistemological review, namely: the madrasa as a place of inheritance of the values ​​of ahl al-sunnah wa al-jama'ah; madrasas grow and develop because of the cooperation of the kiai and the community; madrasas survive on the basis of public trust; Madrasas are educational institutions for the people. Third, in an axiological view, madrasas are cultural products of the Muslim community and are part of Islamic culture. Madrasas are an inseparable part of the Muslim community as a whole as the owner of Islamic culture. This research contributes in adding insight into the peculiarities of madrasa education in a philosophical review.
