Abstract

Based on the discussions carried out, it was found that: what was the cause of the divorce in this case was that the parties were still relatively young at the time of marriage so that the parties were still unstable in dealing with problems in the household. Meanwhile, when deciding a case, the Panel of Judges has strong considerations and reasons to serve as a basis for making a decision in order to avoid mistakes in deciding the case. "One of the judge's considerations and bases in deciding this case is contained in the Compilation of Islamic Law, Article 116, that between husband and wife there are continuous disputes and quarrels and there is no hope of living in harmony in the household again.

This research is field research and the nature of the research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Direct data collection by interviewing respondents, then the results are managed qualitatively.
