Abstract

Character education is something that is very important for individual and social life, so it must always receive attention for review so that it develops and becomes more established. This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of Islamic jurisprudence in the context of student character education at SMP 3 Tanjung Pura. The focus of the research involves the integration of Islamic jurisprudence values as a basis for forming students' Islamic character. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that the implementation of religious jurisprudence at SMP 3 Tanjung Pura has a positive impact on the formation of student character. Interactive learning methods, religiously oriented extracurricular activities, and parental involvement are an integral part of this implementation effort. Student character education through religious jurisprudence at SMP 3 Tanjung Pura makes a significant contribution to the development of students' morality, self-discipline and spiritual awareness. The findings of this research can be a reference for educational practitioners and researchers in developing character education models based on religious values in junior high schools and other educational institutions.
