Abstract

This research is motivated by a strong spiritual attitude because it is important for students as a moral foundation and a balancer for life in the digital era. However, the ease of access to information, including zodiac predictions, can affect students' spiritual attitudes, especially in the context of the Islamic religion which prohibits belief in divination. This study aims to describe about: 1) The belief of grade XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak towards zodiac predictions on social media, 2) The implementation of spiritual attitudes of gratitude for grade XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak who use zodiac predictions on social media. This study uses a descriptive method. The results of this study show that the level of confidence and use of zodiac predictions is low among students (belief: 36%, usage: 24%, impact: 16%). The majority of students showed a high attitude of gratitude (heart gratitude: 91%, verbal gratitude: 89%, physical gratitude: 81%), although there were challenges in increasing their gratitude 78%. Based on these results, it was concluded that although a small percentage of students (20%) had confidence in the zodiac prediction, the majority (80%) showed a high practice of gratitude. Students generally use zodiac predictions as entertainment, not life guides.
