Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Melalui Program Tausyiah Di SMK Islam Insan Cendekia

Abstract

The issue of character education is currently being increasingly discussed, amidst the massive flow of information technology, whose access can distance people from religious and cultural values as the philosophy of national life. Educational institutions have a great responsibility for the formation of the character of their students, through religious activities carried out in schools. This study aims to determine the implementation of the tausyiah program at SMK Islam Insan Cedekia, the implications of the tausyiah program on the formation of student character at SMK Islam Insan Cedekia and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the tausyiah program at SMK Islam Insan Cedekia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with research subjects being supervising teachers and students. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) The implementation of the tausyiah program is carried out routinely, (2) there is a significant impact of this tausyiah program in forming student character, (3) The main supporting factor is the encouragement from the academic community at the school, the inhibiting factor is the lack of facilities and infrastructure.
