Abstract

The application of dhuha prayer and reading the Qur'an before the learning process at the Assyafiiyah Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah which is located in Tanjung Village, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency is a program from the Principal to foster morals and discipline for students. Activities implementing dhuha prayer and reading Al-Quran This Qur'an has been going on for quite a long time, this activity is very supportive and successful in carrying out moral development for students, especially for fifth grade students, so that this activity can also make time discipline for all students. Forms of coaching on student morals in the application of dhuha prayers and reading the Qur'an in Assyafiiyah Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Assyafiiyah Kelurahan Tanjung, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency is like giving lectures or studies after performing Duha prayers and forms of moral development in Al-Qur'an reading activities moral development if there are students who make mistakes or delinquency. Before carrying out the teaching and learning process students carry out dhuha prayers and recite the Koran (reading the Qur'an), these activities are routinely carried out from Monday to Thursday which are attended by all students. This research was conducted at the Asyafiiyah Private Islamic Elementary School, Tanjung Village, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency with a research focus on class V.
