Abstract

In an effort to educate students, developing teacher professionalism is a necessity that cannot be ignored, in other words, developing teacher professionalism is a step that needs to be taken by Madrasahs to increase teacher professionalism competence. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This research aims to obtain information related to the Management of Madrasah Heads in Increasing Teacher Professionalism at MA Riyadhul Ulum Sungai Piyuh. The results of this research are, Madrasah head management in improving teacher professionalism carries out training for teachers according to needs in terms of learning, information technology, such as upgrading learning methods, upgrading scientific writing, professional/competency certification, supervision programs for madrasah heads, empowerment programs MGMP, and development carried out by the teachers themselves by carrying out the functions of the school principal himself as an educator, motivator, supervisor and administrator.
